   Areas affected...portions of northeast TX

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 329...

   Valid 260742Z - 260915Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 329
   continues.

SUMMARY...Severe/locally damaging gusts remain possible across
north/northeast TX in the short term. Some severe potential could
persist outside of WW 329 and trends are being monitored for
   possible downstream watch issuance.

DISCUSSION...An organized line of convection is currently moving
south/southeast across the Metroplex, and a few severe gusts have
been noted over the past hour. Convection appears to be keeping pace
with the leading edge of outflow, likely in part due to a 25-30 kt
southerly low-level jet feeding into the thunderstorm complex.
Downstream, a moist and unstable airmass with little inhibition is
place. If outflow does not surge too far ahead of the ongoing line
of thunderstorms, some potential for sporadic severe/damaging gusts
could persist into portions of east Texas. Trends will be monitored
and local watch extensions or a new downstream watch may be needed.
