Areas affected...portions of southern into eastern
   Nebraska...western into northern Iowa

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 460...

   Valid 252224Z - 260000Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 460
   continues.

SUMMARY...Strong thunderstorms will persist with a severe gust
threat over the next few hours, and a couple instances of severe
   hail cannot be ruled out.

DISCUSSION...Several strong thunderstorms continue to consolidate
along a frontal boundary over NE into IA. While merging their cold
pools, several of these storms have become outflow dominant, given
that the stronger (i.e. 40 kts) effective bulk shear is lagging in
the post-frontal boundary airmass. Storms should remain loosely
organized along the frontal boundary, where 2500 J/kg MLCAPE will
support a continued risk for some severe gusts and perhaps a couple
instances of hail over the next few hours.
