SEL7 URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 427 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 345 AM MDT Tue Jun 17 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Northeast Colorado * Effective this Tuesday morning from 345 AM until 800 AM MDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5 inches in diameter possible Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Multiple supercells should continue to pose a threat for mainly large to very large hail up to 1.5-2.5 inches in diameter for at least a few more hours this morning as they move slowly east-southeastward. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 40 statute miles north and south of a line from 95 miles west of Akron CO to 20 miles northeast of Akron CO.
