The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Eastern and Southeast Idaho
Western and Central Wyoming
* Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 300 PM
until 900 PM MDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...Severe thunderstorms including a few high-based supercells
will be possible through late afternoon and evening, with
severe-caliber wind gusts and hail possible.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 135
statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles north northwest
of Cody WY to 40 miles south of Big Piney WY. For a complete

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
