The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
South-Central into Deep South Texas
Coastal Waters
* Effective this Wednesday morning from 1245 AM until 800 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible
SUMMARY...A small bowing complex should move east-southeastward
through the morning hours while posing some threat for
severe/damaging winds and isolated large hail. Additional strong to
severe thunderstorms may also develop over the next several hours.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 70
statute miles north and south of a line from 70 miles west northwest
of Laredo TX to 55 miles south southeast of Corpus Christi TX. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.

2 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60 knots. A
